Dear Reader,Yesterday was spent prepping a forest for Ed's arrival, or at least the miniature side of the affair.
Vivian, our squirrel queen, brought over the raw materials and the Aliens and I started gluing leaves to twigs.
As it happened leftover leaf veins from our larger cardboard trees served perfectly as precut twigs, saving a step - a rare victory for my side of the on-going debate with the Trouble and Strife over my pack-rat tendencies to squirrel away unused elements :)
I'm sure you'll agree with Alien Two that the final product is going to be a perfect miniature double for our larger trees. I can't wait to see the felt truck in amidst them!
