Dear Reader,There are moments in the parental journey when one is filled with pride. This morning was such a moment.
Heading out to coffee, we left our apartment through the alley, whereupon Alien One's first response to spotting a big piece of cardboard in the recycling dumpster was: "Papa, we could use that!"
And when she saw the pictures on the outside of said box: "It's a toilet making kit!" (evidently one of our neighbors was indeed installing a toilet).
The apple, as they say, does not fall far from the tree.

PS As it transpired, her idea was for me to dive in and grab said box, so we still have more to learn :)
