Splints, Teeth and Patching the Gaps

What a holiday weekend!

A splint made from an eye-solution box, taped to reinforce the weak link in Robin's bookshelf, was permanently papier mached into place, adding another layer of invisible history to the wonderfully (and soon to be colorfully) curvaceous shelves.

Meanwhile, if you look carefully, you'll see Alien One lost her first tooth, though the loosely attached neighbor quickly wiggled over to take advantage of the vacant space.

After researching the literature (a book on how lost teeth are dealt with throughout the world) Alien One put a special request to the tooth fairy, who now has said tooth. With a little trepidation we are patiently waiting to see what peculiar gift the tooth fairy returns; apparently it'll take a couple of weeks to fulfill the request.
