Branded Acorns!

Dear Reader,

You have probably seen branded toast and wood and obviously everyone knows about cattle, but did you know you can brand lemons too?!

With that in mind, and given that we're looking for a way to put the Squirrel King logo onto our molded pulp acorn the obvious question springs to mind: can you brand an acorn? Even a molded pulp one?

I'm not actually certain about the first question though I suspect the answer is yes. But more importantly, yes, you can brand a molded pulp acorn!!

As an extra thank you from the team here, rest assured that we're going to include the game with the instructions! Peach Sunrise

Dear Reader,

What a wonderful weekend!

With squirrels and her younger sister (sporting her hot pink soccer jersey) overseeing her every move, Alien One baked her first contest pie this weekend. The occasion: an event organized by LA's art museum in conjunction with the `Good Food' talkshow on local public radio station KCRW.

Truly reflective of the deliciousness it contained, Alien One titled her creation Peach Sunrise to reflect the bountiful peaches and custardy goodness!

It was hard to say who was prouder, Chef Squirrel or Alien One serving the public at LACMA!
